Swept path rejections hold up planning applications.
Most of them are avoidable.

Most construction firms and small developers do not have transport planning expertise in-house. The swept path analysis gets rushed, the report does not meet the council's exact specification, and it comes back rejected.

That means resubmission fees, programme delays, and a project sitting in limbo while costs continue to run.

Getting the swept path right first time is not complicated. It requires someone who knows what the council is looking for and produces the report to that standard from day one.

How it works. Three steps.

01

Send your drawings

AutoCAD files, PDFs or site plans. We confirm exactly what we need on the call.

02

We run the swept path analysis

We produce the swept path analysis to council specification, covering vehicle tracking, turning radii and compliance checks.

03

You submit with confidence

You receive a swept path report built for planning submission. It meets requirements before it reaches the council.

Who we work with

You do not need a full-time transport planner. You need someone who knows what the council expects and delivers it without the overhead.

The numbers behind the work.

Tourd is run by Malvin Somane, a CLOCS CLP Practitioner with over two years of specialist swept path experience across residential, commercial and mixed-use UK planning applications.

Founder, Tourd Ltd  ·  CLOCS CLP Practitioner (Reg. 00534)

Before starting Tourd, I spent two years as a Senior Technical Consultant at WPS Compliance Consulting, working directly with 20 construction firms and three London local authorities on BREEAM and net zero compliance. That is where I learned how construction projects run, what councils require, and where submissions tend to break down. The swept path specialism came out of that work.

I hold both CLOCS Construction Logistics Planning qualifications, Foundation and Practitioner level, and have completed over 100 council-approved swept path reports across residential, commercial and mixed-use UK sites. Every report goes through me directly. There is no junior analyst handling your submission.

I have a degree in Economics from the University of Leicester, BCS Business Analysis qualifications, and completed a scholarship programme in Sustainability and ESG at Cambridge Judge Business School. Earlier in my career I was a Santander scholarship finalist, selected as one of 30 from over 3,000 applicants, with insight programmes at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, EY and Cisco.

I run Tourd alongside a senior analyst role in the public sector, leading large-scale data and compliance programmes. The same standards apply here: clear scope, accurate work, on time.
