A specialist swept path practice built around precision, speed, and first-pass planning approval.
Tourd Group was founded to provide swept path analysis reports that pass. First time.
Planning agents and architects regularly encounter swept path reports that come back rejected. Wrong design vehicle. Wrong standard. Geometry that does not work on site. Tourd was set up to stop that from happening.
Based in the East Midlands and working UK-wide, Tourd serves planning consultants, architects, developers and highway engineers who need accurate, council-ready reports without the wait. Standard turnaround is 48 hours. Rush reports are available within 24 hours.
Every report is produced by Malvin T. Somane directly, using industry-standard CAD simulation software. Drawings reference the correct technical standards for the project type: Manual for Streets for residential schemes, TD 16/07 for highway designs, DMRB for trunk road works, and the relevant local design guide for each authority.
You know exactly who is producing your report. That matters.
Malvin founded Tourd Group after qualifying as a CLP Advanced Practitioner through CLOCS, the national standard body for construction logistics in the UK. His name is listed on the CLOCS national practitioner register.
Every swept path report is produced by Malvin using industry-standard CAD simulation software. Reports reference the correct standards for each project: Manual for Streets, TD 16/07, DMRB, TSRGD, NPPF, and any relevant local design guide.
Before founding Tourd, Malvin spent two years as a Senior Technical Consultant at WPS Compliance Consulting, advising local authorities including the London Boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Hackney, and Enfield on ISO 14001 environmental management, BREEAM assessments, and planning compliance. He holds a certificate from the Cambridge University Judge Business School covering sustainability, ESG, biodiversity and sustainable urban development.
His background as a Lead Business Systems Analyst at a large public sector organisation, managing major technology programmes to government standards, brings analytical precision that most drawing technicians do not offer. Reports are structured clearly for planning consultants, with technical content that planning officers can follow without specialist knowledge.
Three things that separate a Tourd report from a generic drawing technician.
We identify the correct design vehicle and technical standards before starting. Residential schemes need Manual for Streets. Highway junctions need TD 16/07. Getting this wrong means rejection. We do not get it wrong.
Reports are structured so planning officers can assess them without specialist knowledge. Clear drawing annotation, a written explanation and the relevant standard cited. Our first-pass approval rate reflects this.
When you instruct Tourd, you deal with Malvin directly. No account managers, no handoffs. If your drawings have issues before we start, we will tell you. Fast communication is part of the service.
We will review and confirm scope before starting. No commitment until you are ready.
