Council-ready swept path reports and construction logistics plans. UK-wide. 48 hours standard.
Five core services covering the full scope of swept path and logistics planning requirements.
The core product. We model your access arrangements, parking, loading bays and turning areas in CAD simulation software to confirm that the required design vehicles can navigate the site without mounting kerbs or obstructing footways.
Vehicles modelled include refuse vehicles, fire appliances, articulated HGVs, rigid lorries, accessible vehicles, coaches, and specialist plant. We use the correct DfT template for the vehicle type and authority.
For sites where planning conditions, TfL requirements or CLOCS-registered contractors require a Construction Logistics Plan, we produce CLOCS-compliant CLPs covering vehicle management, site access routes, construction traffic management and swept path evidence for construction phase vehicles.
Malvin is a CLP Advanced Practitioner listed on the CLOCS national register. Reports are accepted by TfL and local authorities across the UK.
Highways authorities require swept path evidence as part of S278 (highway improvement) and S38 (road adoption) agreements. We produce CAD drawings in the correct format for submission, referencing the appropriate design vehicle and highway design standard.
Drawings are produced to the authority's CAD specification and supplied in both PDF and DWG format for inclusion in highway agreement packages.
Before committing to full design work, it is useful to know whether a proposed access geometry is likely to pass. We review the geometry and provide a written technical assessment of whether the access meets the highway authority's requirements for the design vehicle.
This is particularly useful at pre-application stage, where a quick assessment can inform the site layout before the drawing set is finalised.
A Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) sets out how construction vehicles will access and leave a site, the routes they will take, and how traffic impacts on the surrounding network will be managed throughout the construction programme.
CTMPs are required by planning condition on many residential and commercial developments. We produce CTMPs compliant with local authority requirements, including swept path evidence for the full range of construction vehicles used on site.
A simple four-step process from instruction to approved report.
Email your site layout drawings to info@tourd.co.uk. Include the planning authority, the project type and any specific design vehicles required.
We review the drawings and confirm the correct design vehicle, standard and scope. If there are any geometry issues we flag them before starting.
CAD swept path simulation produced and checked. Written report prepared citing the relevant standards. Standard turnaround is 48 hours from instruction.
PDF report and DWG drawings delivered by email. We are available to respond to any highways officer queries or revisions as needed.
Send your drawings and we will confirm scope and turnaround within a few hours.
