What We
Deliver

Council-ready swept path reports and construction logistics plans. UK-wide. 48 hours standard.

Our
Services

Five core services covering the full scope of swept path and logistics planning requirements.

Service 01
Swept Path
Analysis

The core product. We model your access arrangements, parking, loading bays and turning areas in CAD simulation software to confirm that the required design vehicles can navigate the site without mounting kerbs or obstructing footways.

Vehicles modelled include refuse vehicles, fire appliances, articulated HGVs, rigid lorries, accessible vehicles, coaches, and specialist plant. We use the correct DfT template for the vehicle type and authority.

Service 02
Construction
Logistics Plan

For sites where planning conditions, TfL requirements or CLOCS-registered contractors require a Construction Logistics Plan, we produce CLOCS-compliant CLPs covering vehicle management, site access routes, construction traffic management and swept path evidence for construction phase vehicles.

Malvin is a CLP Advanced Practitioner listed on the CLOCS national register. Reports are accepted by TfL and local authorities across the UK.

Turnaround
5 to 7 working days depending on site complexity.
Format
CLOCS-compliant written CLP with embedded CAD drawings.
Coverage
All vehicle types. Construction, demolition and enabling works phases covered.
Standards
  • CLOCS Standard for Construction Logistics
  • TfL Construction Logistics guidance
  • NPPF (planning policy framework)
  • Local planning condition requirements
Service 03
CAD
Drawings

Highways authorities require swept path evidence as part of S278 (highway improvement) and S38 (road adoption) agreements. We produce CAD drawings in the correct format for submission, referencing the appropriate design vehicle and highway design standard.

Drawings are produced to the authority's CAD specification and supplied in both PDF and DWG format for inclusion in highway agreement packages.

Turnaround
48 hours standard. Rush drawings available.
Format
CAD drawings in PDF and DWG. Title block and annotation to authority specification.
Use cases
S278 agreements, S38 adoptions, junction design, roundabout design, turning head geometry.
Standards
  • TD 16/07 (junction design)
  • DMRB (design manual roads and bridges)
  • Manual for Streets
  • Local highway authority design guides
Service 04
Highway Access
Assessment

Before committing to full design work, it is useful to know whether a proposed access geometry is likely to pass. We review the geometry and provide a written technical assessment of whether the access meets the highway authority's requirements for the design vehicle.

This is particularly useful at pre-application stage, where a quick assessment can inform the site layout before the drawing set is finalised.

Turnaround
24 hours for desktop review. Detailed assessment within 48 hours.
Format
Written technical assessment. Preliminary CAD check drawings included where required.
Best for
Pre-application stage reviews, design feasibility checks, planning inquiry evidence.
Service 05
Construction Traffic
Management Plan

A Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) sets out how construction vehicles will access and leave a site, the routes they will take, and how traffic impacts on the surrounding network will be managed throughout the construction programme.

CTMPs are required by planning condition on many residential and commercial developments. We produce CTMPs compliant with local authority requirements, including swept path evidence for the full range of construction vehicles used on site.

Turnaround
5 to 7 working days depending on site complexity and programme.
Format
Written CTMP with embedded swept path drawings. PDF supplied for planning submission.
Coverage
All construction vehicle types. Demolition, enabling works and build phases covered.
Standards
  • Local planning authority CTMP guidance
  • NPPF (planning policy framework)
  • CLOCS Standard for Construction Logistics
  • Highway authority construction traffic requirements

How It
Works

A simple four-step process from instruction to approved report.

01
Send Your Drawings

Email your site layout drawings to info@tourd.co.uk. Include the planning authority, the project type and any specific design vehicles required.

02
Scope Confirmed

We review the drawings and confirm the correct design vehicle, standard and scope. If there are any geometry issues we flag them before starting.

03
Report Produced

CAD swept path simulation produced and checked. Written report prepared citing the relevant standards. Standard turnaround is 48 hours from instruction.

04
Delivered and Approved

PDF report and DWG drawings delivered by email. We are available to respond to any highways officer queries or revisions as needed.
